Wonderful community facility with lots of nooks and crannies for quiet reading, small meetings etc. Two stories with a lift and two staircases. Upstairs is very airy, lots of open space to sit, read, meet

Today I picked up my first set of click and collect" mystery box of talking books. I am so thrilled with the selection and the staff were very helpful and patient with me. I can't wait to start my first one tonight."

Do not come to this library if you wish to read or study, the building is positioned adjacent to a university campus yet refuses to facilitate an environment for those who wish to ACTUALLY READ. It is disgustingly loud. Toddlers and infants constantly screaming and crying, people shouting, disrespecting the innate nature of what a library should be (a quiet reading space). If I could give this place a -10 star rating, I would.

We are regular users of the Rockingham Library. My children (14yrs, 2.5yrs & 1yrs) all love visiting and choosing a range of books. There is a toy library for the younger two available 2x weekly aswell.A lovely morning that we have built into our weekly routine. We have also had the pleasure of expanding our garden with some of the seeds available there as well. #GrowItLocal

People say books are history in this digital age. The tech is cold, scentless and doesn't age well at all. Books have warmth which you feel in fingers. They fill your nostrils with a unique perfume. Books grow richer as they age. Go to Rockingham Library and discover for yourself!!

While visiting with grandchildren we came across Anita who was putting together a fabulous crochet 'PURPLE ROAD' exhibition. She was highly engaging and encouraged the kids to give opinions and ideas. The crochet flowers were all contributed by local residents and she was stitching them together to make a road and a comment on aging gracefully. As she is a standout 81, she made our day...no wait...our year!

Main foyer has toxic fungi through all the rug. The venue stinks of urine and feacal matter. There is barely anything at the venue worth enjoying. The free" wifi is compromised. The local 3g/4g/5g networks are compromised. Most of the time there is dingbats at the venue. Just about everything in the fact section is fiction. The venue appears derilict. But then this is Rockingham. Almost everything is derilict. There are dingbats and dingalings everywhere. Best to lower your expectations before going."
